Lay angle

Angle at a long and short side of a printed sheet where the sheet is being aligned (positioned) during the printing and finishing processes. The lay angle must be the same in print and finishing, in order to ensure a correctly positioned processing. (please refer also to "front lay mark", "side lay mark")
