Introduction

In the exercises section of the "Determination of cutting sequences" segment you are asked to fix the optimum sequence of cuts for processing a printed sheet.

To make your learning easier, tasks 1 to 3 are designed in such a way that you can move the stack with your mouse.

This allows you to turn and push the stack, until you have found the optimum cut size.

You have two attempts to determine the optimum cut.

After that the system offers the right solution, which forms also the initial position for the next cut.

The cutting jobs 4 and 5 are more demanding exercises for cutting sequence optimization.

Exercise 4 offers only a restricted number of cutting options which you can select by clicking on the right option.

The edge trim of the stack is shown as a gray-colored, wide line:

Those cuts which have already been processed, as well as the available cutting options are shown in RED.
