Poor posture

These bad postures will lead to generalized muscle tension if held for long periods of time without limb movement. This is very tiring, and will cause tension.

Bad posture at the cutting workplace:
Even bending forward by as little as 30° triples the strain on the intervertebral discs.

Basically:

  • An upright, straight posture is the proper position to adopt at work.
  • Always try to keep your arms pointing downwards when lifting loads.
