A swivel backgauge helps to align the printed image parallel to the cutting line.

The printed sheet (1) with off-straight image (2) is placed against the swivelled backgauge (3) in such a way that the cutting line (4) is parallel to the printed image. Because there is no square angle for the subsequent cut, a point-type lay mark (Fixomat) is required.
