5. Cutting stick

It is very important to turn and replace the cutting stick at regular intervals. With every cut there are paper particles pressed into the cutting stick, which are then compressed. This makes the slit into which the knife enters always wider and the stick material harder. The lowest sheets result to be cut more and more inaccurately.
