Test cut
It is not easy to predict how a cutting process will develop. Quite often, the operator knows nothing about the composition of the paper being cut.
Before carrying out sophisticated cutting jobs you should always make a test cut in the following way:
- Trim a high ream in the area of the edge strip. Then compare the upper and lower sheets of the ream.
- When a cutting test mark is printed, the operator can assess the cutting sequence on the basis of the bled line in the trimmed section.
