Operator guidance and navigation aid

This training program is meant to provide fundamental information about the high-speed cutter.

The optimum graphic representation is obtained with Internet Explorer 6.x and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768, True Color (32 bits).
For playing the animations and exercises you will need the relevant plug-in (Macromedia Flash Player) which can be downloaded here.

The program is composed of two parts: The lessons and the exercises/practical part. In the left-hand menu you can select any of these parts and, additionally, the comprehensive glossary by clicking on a title. More sub-sections will be opened.

The lessons section which contains predominantly information about the high-speed cutter is subdivided into four parts:

Particular emphasis of the training is placed on the highspeed cutter chapter which is divided into the following sections:

The practical part which contains not only information, but also many exercises, comprises the sections:

each of which is divided into four sections, each:

  • Learning goals,
  • Fundamental information,
  • Rules and
  • Exercises.

Both the lessons as well as the practical part of this program include numerous sections and chapters. Some of them consist of several pages. By clicking on the arrow at the very bottom of the page you get to the previous or next page.

By clicking on the button next to it you get the print version of the page.

If you wish to print out an exercise as an example with the input values you can do so via the Internet Explorer print function:

  • From the Internet Explorer menu please select: File: Print preview.
  • The preview is opened and you can print it out as shown on the display. Before you print the page please make sure to select the "landscape format" under "Set up printer (Alt +E)".

You can navigate through the entire program by using the site map. Please open the "Survey" and click on the chapter you wish to see.
