2. Optional equipment for positioning faulty printed sheets
Printing press point lay mark
With an optional equipment it is possible to achieve the same type of point lay mark as in the press. For this purpose the backgauge is provided with two front lay marks and one side mark. This allows to precisely align even printed sheets with a curved gripper edge or sheets where gripper edge and pull-type lay mark are not at a 90° angle. The measurements are automatically corrected when the marks are tilted forward or backward.
