Alfred Henschel Managing Director and Spokesman
After his completed studies in Machine Engineering he began his professional career in 1972 with Gildemeister AG in Bielefeld. During this period, from 1979 – 1982 he studied and graduated also in Industrial Management. In 1984 he took the position as Works Manager with Wohlenberg Buchbinderei-systeme GmbH in Verden. In 1990 he joined Polar in Hofheim as Works director until 1992. From 1992 – 1995 he was Managing Director with Knorr Bremsen GmbH, in Berlin and rejoined Polar in 1995 as Managing Director, responsible for R & D, Design and Engineering, Logistics and Production.

Michael Neugart
Michael Neugart Managing Director
After his graduation in Machine Engineering he also studied and graduated in Industrial Management and began his career as Management Trainee with Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG. After various sales activities abroad (also as National Manager New Zealand) he took charge in 1996 of Heidelberg’s largest German Agency, the Heidelberg Druckmaschinen Vertriebs GmbH in Düsseldorf. Since the beginning of 2000 he is Managing Director with Polar in Hofheim and is responsible for Marketing, Sales and Service.
Both Managing Directors have joint responsibility for the line functions Finances, Personnel and IT.
