Managing Director
After his completed studies in Machine Engineering he began his professional career in 1972 with Gildemeister AG in Bielefeld. During this period, from 1979 – 1982 he studied and graduated also in Industrial Management.
In 1984 he took the position as Works Manager with Wohlenberg Buchbinderei-systeme GmbH in Verden. In 1990 he joined POLAR in Hofheim as Works director until 1992.
From 1992 – 1995 he was Managing Director with Knorr Bremsen GmbH, in Berlin and rejoined POLAR in 1995 as Managing Director, responsible for R&D, Design and Engineering, Logistics and Production.

Jürgen Freier
Director Sales & Services
After studying business informatics, Jürgen Freier held various management positions in Sales and Marketing at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG for twelve years.
Among other things, he managed the Sales team in France, located in Paris from 2000 - 2003.
During the past eight years, Freier was the Managing Director in various printing companies. Since 2008, he was the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at Prinovis, a Bertelsmann company.
From begin of 2012, he is Director Sales & Services at POLAR in Hofheim and responsible for the Marketing, Sales and Services divisions.
