Cutting machines and components
Nowhere in the printing sector is the choice of network-enabled components as decisive as in digital printing. Offset printers that want to set themselves apart from their rivals with personalized printed products often choose digital printing and the technical possibilities this brings. This requires an integrated workflow with components that are linked up right through to finishing.
The same applies for modern inplant printers, which link up with their company's electronic media to produce low-cost print projects on demand and in very small print runs. For the area of digital printing, POLAR offers technically high-quality components at economically interesting conditions, for example the network-enabled cutting machines from the compact series with cutting widths of 56, 66 and 80 cm.
The latest development from POLAR, the robust and network-enabled three-side trimmer POLAR BC 330 works, in contrast to three-knife trimmers with just one knife and is designed to automatically cut adhesive-bound or saddle-stitched products.
In the field of label production in very small print runs, POLAR offers a technically and economically mature solution with the solo die-cutters DC-M and DCC-M:
The solo die-cutter POLAR DC-M
uses the puncture principle and is suitable for all common label papers. The solo die-cutter POLAR DCC-M, on the other hand, uses counterpressure and is therefore particularly well-suited to label materials made of plastic or metal foils. Both versions of the POLAR die-cutter are ideally suited to the semi-automatic offline production of labels.
