The basic model for formats about 78 x112 cm (30 5/7 x 44 inches) is characterized by a low structure. The reversed pile is picked up and put down on exactly the same location. Therefore this type of pile turner needs a comparatively small space. The horizontal rotation is performed manually, or semiautomatically (optional).
The PW-4 can easily be taken to different locations of operation by means of a lift-truck. They have a very low pivot-point and an easy operating. Automatic pressure-control flaps ensure always adequate pressure to avoid moist sheets sticking together. The PW-4 have the shortest turning time of approx 35 sec., subject to pile hight.
