Where others spend their holidays, the POLAR three-side trimmer BC 330 is busily and reliably doing its work.

The machine is then started at the touch of a button and the operator can continue to work on the adhesive binder.

The stacked products are separated from above by an intelligent suction line. Suction cups that are not needed are automatically turned off. As a result, up to 220 products per hour can be cut automatically. The compact and robust cutting unit guarantees maximum possible stability and therefore also a precise cut that is gentle on the material. The products are fixed by a wide clamping bar the clamping force of which can be continuously regulated on a
dial in order to meet the requirements of all materials. In addition, the cutting cell is easily accessible and enables the blades to be changed quickly and easily.

If the format needs to be changed, the operator enters the necessary data on an input screen and the cutting program is created automatically on the basis of this.

"We used to have bottlenecks on the cutting machine," says Peter Zabel, "and we therefore decided to invest in the three-side trimmer." The BC 330 has now been in use for a few months, and Fabian Keller wouldn't be without it. He particularly appreciates the ease of operation and the clear time saving compared to before, when the products were still cut on the guillotine-type cutter. The product quality has also seen a clear improvement and the production process has been optimized. As a result, only one operator is now needed for the adhesive binder and the three-side trimmer.

Premises of Druckerei Peter Zabel Premises of Druckerei Peter Zabel Peter Zabel has been active on the market with his innovative printing company for 29 years. Seven years ago, the company moved into new premises on the outskirts of Radolfzell. In the light and welcoming building, the entire machine park is housed on one level. In addition to the classic offset machine Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 74-5, the company also uses a

As a result, the company can supply practically everything from a single source and only has to buy in a maximum of 5% in the form of third-party services.

In addition to certified color management for color proof printing, as an FSC®-certified company (FSC-CO10786), Peter Zabel also places great value on protecting our environment.
